Here's a chance for you to learn (or remember!) all the sewing basics. We'll guide you through layout, cutting, and sewing a simple garment. Choose a project that you love (with a little guidance from our staff) and we'll help you work at your own pace. This is an on-going class; so reserve a space and enjoy some guaranteed sewing time!

Sew, chat, and have fun all at the same time! Choose a project and work at your own pace with the expert assistance of our instructor, Susan. This class is suitable for beginners and advanced beginners. Join us for some relaxed sewing time!

Class Policies
You must register at least seven days before the class begins. You can register by phone using a credit card or come by Mulberry Silks and pay by cash, check, or credit card. Class fees must be paid in full when you register. If a class is cancelled by the instructor, a full refund will be given. If you cancel, we can refund your class fee only if you notify us at least seven days before the first class. We're sorry, but if you miss a class we cannot reschedule it nor can we make any fee adjustment.Fabrics and supplies must be purchased from Mulberry Silks prior to the date the class begins. We do offer our students a 10% discount on all supplies required for your class. In most cases, you will need to wash and dry your fabric before the first class, so come in and get a materials list, browse the store, and get started!

Create an oversized artful tote bag using beautiful hand printed linens. Join Peg in a two day workshop which begins with designing your own art cloth using textile inks and simple printing techniques. Day two you will combine and stitch your printed fabrics with solids to make a handsome and useful lined big bag. Great for carrying anything & everything!

A new holiday pillowcase for everyone in your family is a great addition to your holiday traditions! Beginners welcome ages 16 and up

Design options are endless using lace trims and more to customize your jammies. Basic machine sewing skills required, ages 11-17.

Line it in clear vinyl and it'll hold wet bathing suits from the gym, lotions and shampoo for packing your suitcase…you get the idea! Everyone you know needs one and will want three, so you'll have gift giving covered for at least 2 years. Design options are endless, as are the things you can stash in it! Beginners welcome, ages 16 and up

Cut it, turn it, shorten or lengthen it…one way or another we'll make the old and worn new and cool again. Love the jacket; hate the shoulder pads? Sounds like a vest waiting to happen! Tired of that dress but love the fabric? Make it into a tunic with awesome trim! Thrift shop finds make amazing garments…your imagination can take the clothes anywhere. Basic sewing machine sewing skills required, ages 16 and up.
